Worry out of worrying, who are not able

            Worry constitutes a big problem that has great effect on both  individual and society . According to a 2007 Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA )survey, almost 36% of people with social anxiety disorder report experiencing symptoms for 10 or more years before seeking help.1Women are also more effected by worry than men . Worry leads to anxiety disorders that is very common illness in the U.S., nearly 40 million adults in the United States age 18 and older, or 18.1% of the population every year have this type of disorder.1         Worry is a habit for many people who are accustomed to make a life out of worrying, who are not able to view anything without having worries in their daily lives , without searching for a reason to feel worried because of expecting the worst of everything that may happen to them or to one or more of their relatives whom they love a lot .Worry is the reason for serious problems and cause many psychological cases such as depression ,blood pressure ,heart problems, diabetes, and many more 2  There are many reasons for worry and there are also many strategies for avoiding being worried .In this research paper , worry will be discussed in terms of its definition ,its reasons ,the results of being worried and its effect on a person’s life and the best ways to decrease worry .             Worry  can be defined as a state of  being nervous for no serious reason, it is a reflection of a lack of faith and bad expectations .  The term “worry “is known in Middle English descendant, as “to grasp by the throat with the teeth and lacerate” or “to kill or injure by biting and shaking.”3 Worry reflects not only a lack of faith in oneself ,but also disbelief in other people . Worry gives the person improper impression about his abilities and causes lack of trust that a person  can deal with difficulties on times of crisis .         Worrying has many reasons .It can take place when someone expects the negative possibilities of the future. Worry consumes people’s time and energy in vain . Mark Twain said that “I am an old man and have known a great many troubles, but most of them never happened,”. 2 Most of what we worry about never comes to real life , and the remained effect is the bad consequences of being worried for a long period of time .Even if the worst thing already happens , the worrying cannot change nor help to make it less effective , less negative. People may have spent most of their time preparing for the outcome rather than worrying about it, so  their efforts are devoted to self-centered interests .  4              Worry  has many  negative effects as it causes stress and strife and turns  the positive energy into negative one that spoils all the suffering person’s lives.3  There are clear results of worry all of them affect daily behavior ,health ,and even the person’s relationships with others .4         The main disadvantages of worry is the disability to control anger and stress in cases of severe worry and anxiety .There is also lack of concentration for most people who suffer from worry because their concentration is focused mainly on unknown sources .Moreover , they lose the power of taking decisions .5When worry reaches its severe extreme ,it leads to sweetening and losing control of limbs nerves .4 In most cases ,worry leads to depression. In addition ,anxiety disorders are highly treatable, but almost 36.9% of those suffering receive treatment.5                  Some suggested Solutions to manage severe worry is through acceptance of the present situations in our lives and trying to take a positive action to limit the effects of possible negative factors on our lives .7,6 Worry changes only a person’s stress levels ,so to overcome it  is to alternate the negative thinking with positive attitude and optimistic  thinking. Whenencountering pessimistic thoughts that make a person anxious and  fearful , these thoughts can be challenged by enhancing good spirits and maintaining  objectivity .Having much worry leads to encountering  a lot of scary thoughts . 7To manage the flow of these thoughts and the state of being upset, remember that these thoughts have no real basis .Psychologists advise people with the problem of excessive worry to treat it consciously and examine these worries in light not into the unconscious that leads to further psychological problems .8To sum up ,excessive worry is a serious problem that has many effects on people
