consumption of which provides energy for the body. They also include fiber and
water which do not provide energy but are as important as the other macronutrients,
because fibers reduce the risk of heart diseases and water is vital for many
processes of the human body. Micronutrients, on the other side are required in
smaller quantities and they are composed of minerals and vitamins. All this
nutrients must be in a balance for the body to function properly. But why are they
so important?

These seven nutrients
have an enormous impact on our daily diet and health issues. Carbohydrates provide
energy for the body and that way our metabolism can perform reactions and regain stability. They
are needed for physical activity, brain and organs function,
for intestinal health and waste elimination. Proteins are vital in the maintenance of
body tissue, hair, skin, eyes, muscles and organs which are all made of this
nutrition. Fat provides
energy, absorbed vitamins and maintains your core body temperature. Also good
fats protect the heart and keep the body healthy. Fiber is important to digestion, heart’s health, blood sugar
regulation, cancer prevention,
cholesterol maintenance, weight management. Vitamins are another nutrient
needed. These organic compounds are essential for normal growth and are
required in small quantities in the diet because they cannot be synthesized by the
