A terrorist is a person who uses unlawful violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political, religious, or ideological aims. There is nowhere in the definition that says Muslims are terrorist. But people assonate the two word and marginalize a whole race by the action a small number of extremist. This hatred towards Muslim people impacts Muslim people’s day-to-day life.   Islamophobia has moved from the borders of American society to the mainstream.
