It ismy recommendation that tesla should expand their current global retail andservice locations by opening a store in Singapore. The countries high-tech status and long termorientation make Singaporeans an ideal customer for Tesla. Singaporean car buyers will be able to affordthese high-end luxury electric vehicles, and appreciate their help to the environment.Tesla will also gain even more brand recognition and be able to grow even furtherwith their goals of being a sustainable energy company.
Tesla was founded in 2003 and based inPalo Alto, California. The company wasfounded by Martin Eberhard, Marc Tarpenning, Ian Wright, Elon Musk, and JBStraubel. In a quote by Elon Musk in 2013 he states, “Ourgoal when we createdTesla a decade ago was the same as it is today: to accelerate the advent ofsustainable transport by bringing compelling mass market electric cars tomarket as soon as possible.” While the executiveshave big plans to revolutionize the energy crisis, most consumers stillconsider them a car company.
