Reincarnation and Child Prodigies

Belief in reincarnation is an ancient trend. It is the belief that an individual has lived thousands of years ago and will live once again in another life form. It is said that some tribal community avoid eating certain animals because they believe that their ancestor’s souls reside in those animals. Reincarnation, also called Transmigration, or Metempsychosis, in religion and in philosophy, rebirth of the soul in one or more successive existences, which may be human, animal, or in some instances, vegetable (Brittanica).

A child prodigy was a child typically of 10 years of age and younger who performs at the level of a highly trained adult in a very demanding level of endeavor (Feldman). Most researchers recognize that prodigious talent tends to arise as a result of the innate talent of the child, the environment that the individual resides in, the energetic and emotional investment that the child ventures, and the personal characteristics of the individual (ExperienceFestival).
