The reasons are unknown, and will vary. However, this graph clearly shows that people are still willing to buy more recycled bottles however cans are more suitable, according to this questionnaire.Would you pay a higher price for Coca-Cola if you knew the materials used for cans and bottles were bio-degradable?Yes – 87.3% No- 12.7%This shows that the majority of people are willing to pay more for bio-degradable materials; Coca-Cola should consider this and try to gain maximum profit.

Many people who said `no` might have chosen this because of the world-wide financial problems, and can not afford to pay a higher price.Would you buy more Coca-Cola if a percentage went to charity?Yes- 76.8% No- 23.2%This shows that people are still willing to buy more of a product for a good cause. This will not necessarily help Coca-Cola’s profit but will give them a better reputation, which is always essential in a good business, and over the long term can be profitable for the business.Would you buy more Coca-Cola if they contributed more to `third-world debt`?Yes- 76.6% No- 23.

4%Most people are willing to help others according to this questionnaire. Coca-Cola should consider raising their prices slightly to help others who are so fortunate, they should also consider the money going to third-world debt, and if that will affect their total profit. Also, it will again give the business a good reputation which is always appropriate for large companies. Many people who said `no` may have done this to the worldwide financial crisis.

Would you pay a higher price for Coca-Cola if you knew they were supporting `third-world` families?Yes- 97.6% No-2.4%This shows that people are willing to pay more for others, who need help. However, this question shows that a higher percentage of people are willing to pay higher, this is unusual because of the finical crisis. Also, Coca-Cola should again consider if they make again about the profit margin. Nevertheless, Coca-Cola will get a good reputation from the public for helping others; a good reputation is something money can’t buy.

Do you think Coca-Cola can be part of a healthy life-style?Yes-0.0% No-100.0%This clearly shows that Coca-Cola can not be introduced as part as a healthy life style. Coca-Cola reconsiders what their product contains. However, Coca-Cola has introduced Coca-Cola Zero, to try to fit it into t a healthy lifestyle.Do you think Coca-Cola is bad for dental health?Yes-98.

8% No-1.2%As expected, the majority of people voted `yes`, this is due to scientific research ; which proved Coca-Cola is bad for your oral health. Surprisingly, not all people voted `yes`. This could be due to a number of reasons; one could be: because some who participated could have been younger children who are not aware of the effects of Coca-Cola, has on oral health.Do you think Coca-Cola has enough limited products?Yes- 91.7% No-8.3%From this I can see, that most people believe that Coca-Cola have done enough to promote their products’. However, 8.

3% said `no`, they believe that Coca-Cola could do more limited products; Coca-Cola may struggle to do this because of the wide range of flavors they have already provided, for consumers.Would you pay a higher price for Coca-Cola if they did a limited edition?Yes- 22.4% No- 77.6%The majority of people chose `no`; this could be due to a popular taste in original Coca-Cola, also the worldwide financial crisis, which doesn’t allow people to spend freely.

Conclusion on Analysis. My results show what I expected; however I was surprised that many people thought that Coca-Cola had enough limited editions. Also, that the economic crisis, was a big factor for people to decide their answers. This questionnaire still has many biased results, because of the recession, however it sill can is reliable and also I will undertake could undertake this questionnaire in a few years after the economy has gone back to normal. Hence, I can then compare results.RecommendationsUsing my analysis, I have surprisingly realized Coca-Cola still have improvements to make.

So I have recommended three things they could possibly do to improve sales.Recommendation one:Make the product more environmentally friendly; by using recycled materials it should be cheaper therefore they should gain a wider profit margin. Also, that they should consider what the public have said. If the cans are made out of recycled they can use cheap materials and still get the same amount of sales. Also, according to this questionnaire people are willing to buy more for recycled products. This again widens profit margins.Profits are high due to low costs of materials and high sales.

Coca-Cola should seriously reconsider they marketing strategy, especially now, whilst the recession is taking place. Nevertheless, Coca-Cola should use recycled materials and lower costs per bottle/can; this will help Coca-Cola profits over the long term. Coca-Cola should also try to consider using biodegradable materials, because this will give Coca-Cola a good reputation. A reputation is something that is essential in a successful business; Coca-Cola has high reputation and should try to increase it using recycled/biodegradable, if this is successful then they can again further increase profits.Recommendation two:I recommend to Coca-Cola that they try to give a certain percentage of the profit to charity.

This will show the public that Coca-Cola is a caring company and cares about others. Also, if they increase their price slightly per can/bottle the excess money good go to charity; therefore they don’t lose any money and the reputation has increased drastically. This questionnaire shows that people are willing to pay more for a can if they knew that a percentage of the money was going to charity. Also, I will again mention that a good reputation is something that you have to earn; and by helping others Coca-Cola will please customers. Also, they will think that when they are buying it they are helping others o that also improves ales.

However, this could be very risky because demand for Coca-Cola could increase rapidly and the production will not be able to keep up so
