In the Modern Pharmacy, there are five departments where the network was designed. In thisnetwork design, three routers were used which are Router one (R1-IT), Router two (R2-CS &MKT) and also Router three (R3-ACC & HR). The router one is connected to Switch one (SWIT-01) and (SW-CS-02). Switch one is placed in IT support department which are connected tofour PC’s, four IP Phone, and wireless. The second switch placed in customer service supportdepartment which are connected one and three is connected to four PC’s, four IP Phone, andwireless. In case, the switch one’s network goes down by the router one, it will back up by therouter two which connected to switch one. Router three is connected to the switch two where it isused account department and for human resources department. Each room has one PC, one IPPhone, and one printer but in room four there is an network point and wireless placed in thatroom.
In marketing department, there are four PC’s, four IP Phone, one printer, and one wirelesspoint which connected to switch three. In case the switch two’s network goes down by the routerthree, it will back up by the router four. Switch three is placed in the marketing departmentwhich connected to four PC’s, four IP Phone, and one wireless point. In case, the switch three’snetwork goes down by the router three, it will back up by router two and router three. Switchfour which is placed in between account department. In this department there are four roomswhich has four PC’s, four printers, four IP Phone, and one wireless point which placed in roomone. In case the switch one network goes down by the router one, it will back up by the routertwo. Switch two are placed in customer services room.
Switch one is connected to DNS server,Print server, Database server, Internet server and E-mail server. In case, network goes down byswitch one, it will back up by the switch two which connected by the router three.
